The Cotswolds, classified as an "area of outstanding natural beauty", offer a rich tapestry of green rolling hills studded with pretty villages.

Our traditional Cotswold stone cottages are scattered over the farm and have rural views as good as any in England.

You can just hear the distant bells of Oakridge church and see the houses peep out of the canopy of trees on the other side of the valley. The village of Chalford is a mile away with its jumble of cottages and tortuous donkey tracks.  Cirencester and Stroud are fifteen minutes drive. Gloucester, Cheltenham, Bristol and Bath are less than an hour away.

Our self-catering cottages are simply furnished.

Flagstone floors, Turkish rugs and a mixture of old, new and handmade country furniture give them an unfussy welcoming feeling.

We keep our availability page totally up-to-date. Check it here!

Cockshutt cottage
(left) sleeps 4 and is the first one you come to on the drive. It has 2 bedrooms, is all on one level, and is nearest to the yurts.

Pets and children are welcome.

Hornstone cottage
(right) sleeps 6 and has a large deck with views across the hayfield to the wooded Golden Valley.

For many years badgers have come every evening and expect to be fed.

There is a shared tumble dryer and washing machine in the old barn.

Oil fired central heating ensures all the cottages are warm and welcoming on even the coldest winter's day.

Each cottage has a log fire, TV and DVD player. We have many DVDs at the farmhouse that you are welcome to borrow.
