Each yurt has it's own compost
loo. There is a flush loo in the
old barn - but
the view doesn't compare! In the 'loo house' you'll find a jug
& bowl for washing hands, or even washing yourself for the
hardier amongst you. For the rest of us there are lovely warm
showers in the barn.
The yurts, compost
loos and camp kitchens were made by friends here on the farm. They
are on hand to help you get to grips with out-door life should you
need them. They’ll show you in when you arrive and be ‘on call’
on Saturday morning.
As the yurts are in fields surrounded by stock and wildlife, we cannot
allow your dog to stay with you. Though not allowed in the yurts, dogs
are welcome in our self catering cottages. |

NEW FOR 2010: MOLE
END: In the last glade in these woodlands, Mole End is the
newest addition to the group. As the others, it has own compost
loo, field kitchen and firepit with BBQ facilities. Mole End has a
wooden double bed rather than sofa bed. Sleeps up to 3 (single bed
is folding spare bed type). |
SAPPERTON: Up the valley, on the edge
of the ancient woodlands that lead to the villages of Frampton
Mansell and Sapperton, is our secluded couples only yurt. With
double bed, large deck, hammock and its own spring it makes the
most romantic get-away imaginable. This yurt also has running
water to your kitchen sink. Sleeps 2.
